Taylor J-2 "Cub"
1936 - N17569
Currently under restoration, the J-2 Cub was the next evolution of the Cub Series. Building on the success of the E-2, the J-2 solved issues with the original design. Most notable were the addition of a cabin and a cheaper price tag. This was the last plane produced by the Taylor Aircraft Company before it moved and changed its name to the Piper Aircraft Company in 1937. In all, roughly 2,000 J-2 Cubs were built and flown throughout the country.
