Piper PA-12 Supercruiser

1946 - N7614H

The toll of WWII was great on Civil Aircraft. With the lack of customers and the war effort to fuel, civilian planes were put on hold for four years. The PA-12 “Supercruiser” was based on the earlier J-5 and was typical of post-war aviation. This PA-12 has been in the Juranich Family since 1965, and its beautiful red and black fuselage was designed by Joseph Juranich (Bob & Bill's Father).  The plane is frequently flown due to its easy handling.  This makes it one of the favorites at Point Fosdick.
